The best translations are those which don't sound translated.
Good translations are as fluent as their originals.
To me there is something suspicious about someone who translates from Chinese into Japanese and vice versa.
No good translation is possible without a profound knowledge of and ability to use one's mother tongue.
These are the few – and strongly held – convictions upon which Eloquence is built.
But talk is cheap, and many claims aren't worth the paper they're written on. I prefer providing evidence.
